Business Electric Supply
Why Do I Need to Switch?
Over the last decade, energy providers have been increasing the price of their energy supply by a staggering 120%!
There are few industries that could ever dream of attempting to pull off a price hike of this magnitude, and this is why we believe that the only way to drive down your bills and overheads is to find the best deal on the market today.
This is where we come in. We understand that it can be a daunting task when it comes to switching providers and as such, we are here to make this as seamless as possible. We’re on hand to take the hassle and the stress away from you while finding the best deal for your business, getting you the best deals available in today’s market in the meantime.
Our customers fall into two usage categories; small to medium sized consumption and large consumption. The category you fall into determines the way we approach getting you the best rates.
Here’s a breakdown for you to understand more:
Small to Medium Energy Consumers
Typically, you will be consuming less than 300,000 kWh per year in terms of your energy usage. If you’re unsure how to find this information you can give us a quick call or email us and we can do all of the calculations on your behalf.
For those businesses which fall under this threshold, it’s time to look at your contract end date which is usually found on an up-to-date bill. Once we know how long is left on your contract, we can then look at what rates are available for you in today’s market; many of the suppliers live rates are fixed week by week, therefore, if we source you a good rate it’s worth snapping it up before the close of business on a Friday.
At present, we estimate using our inside information and experience that more than a quarter of the bills we see, business owners are forking out over the top and completely unnecessarily merely because they are out of contract. With our team of professionals on your side, looking to get you the best rates and contract package available, you’re primed for instant savings; in some cases, some businesses can save around a third of what they were paying!
Still in your contract? No, matter, we can start looking at changing energy providers for you and seeing what available rates there are. We can even forward buy the new term at today’s lower rates. In many cases, this can be achieved six months in advance of your contract end date.
If this sounds like something you like to find out more about, get in touch with us by sending us a copy of the front and back of your bill via email. Alternatively, you can give us a call and we will come to you and gather the billing info at your convenience. From here, we really get to work and once we have your rates established we’ll call you to discuss your options.
Large Energy Consumers
Large energy consumption doesn’t necessarily mean that your business is a large corporation which can be deceiving. For example, your business premises or number of employees can be small, but your energy is greater due to the nature of your business, such as engineering, due to the machinery involved.
What’s more, small food outlets fitted with refrigeration units, and even care service stations often fall under the large consumption bracket because they are typically using in excess of 300,000 kWh per year. If you are unsure on your consumption, this is something we are more than happy to help you with simply by sending us a copy of your most recent statement.
If you are a business that runs through multi-sites, we can work all of this out for you too. We’ve found that this is especially handy for some business owners as they don’t have to concern themselves with various energy bills for each site; it’s just a case of obtaining the best rates available by combining your buying power with all the sites on one bill.
As soon as we’ve got this covered off for you, we will approach all the energy suppliers (depending on how many you have) and ask them to tender for your business. We’ll provide each supplier with the same deadline date to put their first and best rates forward. Typically, this will be around midday on a set date, these rates/deals are normally only available to the close of business that day. So, although you might need to make a decision on the day, this is an informed one that you’ll benefit from.
If you own a business, we’d love to talk with you so that we can review your usage in a quick and easy process that will result in you saving money now and in the long-run! All of the rates and deals we find will be direct contracts between you and the supplier, so there’s no middleman once you’ve switched.
Once the new contract is organised and in place, we will also ensure your company doesn’t fall into the traps of being penalised by high out of contract rates ever again. This is done by simply diarising your contract date and start so that we can begin looking for your new rates before your term comes to an end. In most cases, this can be 6 to 12 months in advance.
